GDW Game Idea

I know I am pushing it quite late with this initial blog but I have been turned off of blogging for a while after the many hours put into blogging for Lennart. I apologize  for being so late. With that said lets get into my first blog post. An overview of our GDW game and what we want to do with it.

Eleveator Pitch
Our game is called Bullet Devil: Attack of the Elements, a 3D, 3rd person, isometric, shooter.
Fast paced gameplay mainly based around the four elements; wind, fire, earth, water.
Play the role of an intergalactic pilot named Devil who must defend his crashed spaceship from throngs of enemies
Fight against hordes of fiends that have been spawned by an unknown force. Unfortunately, you are nothing but a novice of armed combat due to your training of space combat.
The game features different weapons that will or will not be effective against the various enemies thrown at you and that is for you the player to figure out!
Gameplay Mechanics
Wacky weapons - Each weapon will have a twist to it. Whether it be from an elemental effect which the weapon has, or the unique premise of the weapon
Adaptable difficulty - Whether you perform good or bad, the game will change to make sure the game is a challenge for you.
Hostile arena – Even though the user will be in 1 area only, we will have so that it will change with each wave. This is also with the difficulty whether it will help or won’t help the player.
Elemental play - Each enemy will have to type of element which they will embody.
Atmosphere and goal
The Atmosphere:  The game is extremely tense and frantic. The games lighting and textures create a dark mood. You always have the feeling of the unknown because you are facing ominous enemies
Goal: The goal of the game is to fend off attacking enemies from reaching your crashed space ship and keep them from destroying it further so you cannot leave the planet

Conclusion
Equip yourself with tons of diverse weaponry and take control of Devil, in order to help him escape the clutches of the ghoulish enemy creatures
